Filter Validation and Change-Out

FilterStat™, a unique feature to Independence™, allows the ability to store complete filter history and filter type on a RFID card attached to the filter. When new filters are installed their type is checked against the chemical and substance database to ascertain compatibility. Once the filters are scanned in as valid, the user may change their current application if required. If new chemicals are chosen that do not match filter type then the user is alerted of the invalid match and an alarm generates.

Once filters are loaded into Independence™, a level three user may change the application if a match is not found. Unless compatible chemicals are found in the current application, Independence™ will not allow the system to continue and an alarm will advise the user to take appropriate corrective action.
