The entire rear wall of the enclosure is a filtration zone; a clean sweep of all particulate and gases is achieved. This design feature makes the Type C PowderSafe™ ideal when weighing the lightest powders or the heaviest solvents.

AirSafe™ Features

PowderSafe™ Type C is equipped with the AirSafe™ Automatic Safety Controller. Incorporating a combination of airflow monitoring and gas detection the AirSafe™ automatic safety controller allows you to breathe easier knowing your safety is constantly monitored.

Airflow Monitoring - The AirSafe™ automatic safety controller constantly monitors the airflow and displays the actual instantaneous face velocity on an alphanumeric display. The monitor uses a special sensor developed by AirClean^® Systems which, unlike traditional anemometers, poses no safety threat the the operator.

Gas Detection/Filter Monitor - A solid state hydrocarbon detector warns the user of filter breakthrough.

HEPA Filter Monitor - The HEPA filter monitor continuously monitors HEPA filter life and alerts user when the HEPA filter requires change out.
