PowderSafe™ Type C Enclosure
AirClean® Systems Type C PowderSafe™ balance enclosure incorporates the airflow dynamics and HEPASafe™ features of the PowderSafe™ Type B with user-friendly features and chemical fume containment capabilities of the ductless fume hood. Thermally fused polypropylene makes the PowderSafe™ Type C enclosure perfect for solvent weighing and manipulation and enclosing powder weighing equipment. Fitted with the AirSafe™ automatic safety controller, the Type C PowderSafe™ has an even laminar flow airstream for accurate weighing.
AC780C Type C with white base and disposal port. The optional disposal port minimizes potential operator exposure from used weighing vessels.

The entire rear wall of the enclosure is a filtration zone; a clean sweep of all particulate and gases is achieved. This design feature makes the Type C PowderSafe™ ideal when weighing the lightest powders or the heaviest solvents.

AirSafe™ Features
PowderSafe™ Type C is equipped with the AirSafe™ Automatic Safety Controller. Incorporating a combination of airflow monitoring and gas detection the AirSafe™ automatic safety controller allows you to breathe easier knowing your safety is constantly monitored.
Airflow Monitoring - The AirSafe™ automatic safety controller constantly monitors the airflow and displays the actual instantaneous face velocity on an alphanumeric display. The monitor uses a special sensor developed by AirClean® Systems which, unlike traditional anemometers, poses no safety threat the the operator.
Gas Detection/Filter Monitor - A solid state hydrocarbon detector warns the user of filter breakthrough.
HEPA Filter Monitor - The HEPA filter monitor continuously monitors HEPA filter life and alerts user when the HEPA filter requires change out.
